Many people would be surprised at how great pets that a hamster and guinea pig can be.  If you have them you should know that the cages are a necessity.  Hamster cages can especially be elaborate and can get kind of expensive.  Your pets are worth it though and you should look around for the best available deal on your cage.  Many online store have good deals, and with the newer cages you can add on many items to make it look like a palace.

I have seen some hamster cages that look like a castle and are not that difficult to make.  Just make sure your room has proper temperature control, as some of these can get hot if there is no air flow in the room. Another option is to head down to your local pet store and find one there.  The cost will be higher, but you will get the best service.  It is a tough choice to make, but your local store is a good option.

Also, check the big retail stores too as they sometimes have cheap prices on hamster cages.  It is all what you are looking for though, and you need to check out all your options before you buy.
